The facility project: a regulatory obligation, but also an opportunity to bring people together and give them meaning
The French Public Health Code states that "The establishment project defines, notably on the basis of the medical project, the general policy of the establishment [...] for a maximum period of 5 years". Above and beyond this obligation, the establishment project is first and foremost an opportunity for teams to rethink and reinvent the future.
- Reposition our medical and nursing ambitions and assert our territorial role.
- Rethinking organizations, professional interactions and working on the quality of reception and working life.
- Re-examine the plant's impact on society through its various aspects (eco-responsibility, real estate, etc.).
- Rethinking the notion of performance, for sustainable performance.
In concrete terms, the aim is to work with the Board of Directors and professionals on the projects that will set the pace for institutional life over the next five years.
The formalization of the establishment's project should be a period of abundance, a laboratory of innovation for thinking about the next five years.

Support in place
Our teams have put in place a resolutely participative approach adapted to different local contexts, focusing on three main areas.
1.
Drawing up a site inventory
- Assessment of the positioning of care networks in the region (supply, needs, market share, patient flows).
- Assessment of the dynamics of activities (clinical, medico-technical, research, etc.), the performance of care (quality, occupancy and management indicators) and organizations (governance, quality of working life, etc.).
2.
Define the strategic orientations of the facility project
- At a strategy seminar, we define the strategic orientations that will guide our corporate project, and validate our collective ambitions for the next five years.
3.
Operational objectives
- Leading multi-professional workgroups to translate strategic orientations into realistic and pragmatic operational objectives, over the next five years.
- Formalization of a consolidated facility project based on strategic orientations.
The results
Support for some fifty facility projects for university hospitals, teaching hospitals and local hospitals
Mobilizing all of a facility's professionals through mobilization and consultation tools
Organizational transformations, consolidation of local links, improved care, etc., have all been achieved thanks to the implementation of formalized projects.
