Methods used
- Academic Contributions: Presentation of Lean approaches and tools via PowerPoint presentation
- Hands-on exercises in subgroups on use cases
- Presentation of tools and their use cases
- Role-playing games to practice giving meaning (communication) and getting teams on board with change
- Sharing, feedback, and experience exchange
- Method for financing operational improvements (link between operational dashboard and income statement)
- The period between the two sessions allows the working sub-group to test lean approaches and provide feedback at the second session.
Assessment methods
Skills assessment quiz conducted at the end of training, either immediately after or at a later time.
