Flexibility, a key lever for integrating renewable energies into the power system
Ambitious targets for the development of onshore renewable energies (RE) - wind and photovoltaic - are challenging electrical infrastructures with the arrival of new constraints. To ensure finer control of the power system and meet these challenges, electricity grid operators are deploying flexibility solutions, in particular to limit the production of onshore renewable energies. This transformation requires the implementation of innovative technical solutions, such as automated systems, as well as the definition of new organizational processes and tools, and changes to the contractual framework.

The results
And tomorrow?
The transformation of electricity networks is well underway, with infrastructures to be renewed or reinforced to accommodate new uses, and made more resilient to the effects of climate change, as part of ambitious investment plans for the next decade. We are proud to support our customers in this transformation.
