The Droit à l'école association is the winner of the latest Eurogroup Autrement Jury, held on January 15 on our premises. The association will benefit from the skills sponsorship program run for several months by the firm's volunteer consultants.
Eurogroup Consulting congratulates this association, as well as the two other organizations, Melting Pot and 1 Cabas pour 1 étudiant, which were selected following the Foundation's call for projects, before presenting their candidacy to a jury made up of members of the firm and external experts.
Created in 2019, Droit à l'école supports exiled Unaccompanied Minors (MNAs) in their access to the schools of the Republic and to professional integration. Arriving alone on French soil, these young people under the age of 18 have to wait an average of eight months before they can access schooling. To date, over 600 young people have been helped.
The association supports them in their efforts, enrols them in the «School for the Schoolless», run by volunteer teachers, and works with them to develop their career guidance and integration plans.
The support program will be launched in the coming months and will be ongoing.
ABOUT "DROIT A L'ECOLE"
Droit à l'école supports exiled Unaccompanied Minors (UAMs) in their access to education and professional integration.
The association has set up the École des Sans École, a transitional program that takes in around 50 young people every week, offering them a supportive educational environment, classes and pedagogical projects while they await integration into a state school.
At the same time, Droit à l'école works to facilitate the enrolment of these young people in the public school system, and then supports them throughout their schooling, helping them with homework and finding employment, right up to the point where they are taken into the care of the Aide Sociale à l'Enfance (ASE).
