Often approached from the angle of workload or individual fragility, it actually reveals much deeper mechanisms.<\/p><p>Multi-factorial and systemic, fatigue is a wear-and-tear factor that calls into question our modes of organization, our models of governance, and our relationship to power and performance. It acts as a weak signal... with potentially major consequences.<\/p><p>To shed light on these issues and share concrete feedback, our firm organized a round table discussion with :<\/p><ul><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/david-autissier\/\"><strong>David Autissier<\/strong><\/a>, Director of the IMEO Chair - ESSEC Business School<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/c%C3%A9line-lefl%C3%A9fian-61b95896\/\"><strong>C\u00e9line Lefl\u00e9fian<\/strong><\/a>, Director of the Marseille Municipal Police<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/eugeniebousquet\/\"><strong>Eug\u00e9nie Bousquet<\/strong><\/a>, Professional Coach at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogroupconsulting.com\/en\/talentee\/\">Talentee Eurogroup Consulting<\/a>\u00a0<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/nicolas-bartel-93441337\/\"><strong>Nicolas Bartel<\/strong><\/a>, Associate, expert in organizational management issues<\/li><\/ul><h3><strong>When fatigue becomes systemic<\/strong><\/h3><p>The discussions highlighted recurring mechanisms, whatever the context:<\/p><ul><li>cumbersome governance structures,<\/li><li>poorly understood decision-making circuits,<\/li><li>blurred priorities,<\/li><li>no room for maneuver,<\/li><li>dilution of responsibilities.<\/li><\/ul><p>All these factors combine to exhaust teams and weaken performance.<\/p><p>From municipal policing to corporate life, the fields of action differ and operational realities contrast. It is built into systems that give energy rather than consume it.<\/p><p>Our speakers called for a change of perspective, based on strong convictions:<\/p><ul><li>Act in favor of what really feeds energy: meaning, clarity of mission, collective success.<\/li><li>Encourage self-knowledge as a lever for regulation and responsibility.<\/li><li>Consider power and management as a discipline that can be organized and structured.<\/li><li>Be clear-sighted in the face of the archetypal tireless hero, still too much a part of our managerial culture.<\/li><\/ul><h3><strong>A strategic challenge for organizations<\/strong><\/h3><p>Fatigue is not a peripheral issue. It goes to the very heart of organizational solidity. Behind weak signals lie the ability to adapt, the robustness of collectives and the sustainability of performance.
